Know Revised Cut-off Scores for IIT Admissions

Getting Admission into IIT Institutions which are very prestigious institutions in India is a very big dream of every student who have completed their 10+2 or it’s Equivalent and wants to proceed their future in a brighter light.Once the cut-off was prescribed for admissions and now as per many requests made by parents, a revised cut-off score was released which is not yet finalised.

Candidates have appeared for JEE Advanced on 2nd June 2013. Admission to IIT’s was done only on the based of performance showed in Entrance Examination in past years and now admission is going to done by taking account of performance showed in Entrance examination and Intermediate Board.As it was said that the candidates who have been above top 20 Percentile including Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry subjects will be eligible for admission,but now as many parents requested a decision was taken to take top 20 percentile contained candidates including all subjects.As per this decision the cut-off scores for different category candidates are as follows: For GENERAL- 457(79.63 percentile),OBC-428(79.68 percentile),SC-387(79.607┬ápercentile),ST-396(79.55 percentile).

Candidates who appeared for JEE Advaced may not worry as this decision was not finalised by the Examination Authority and this was only an assumption made by the professionals. The final decision will be in the hands of Examination authority and the results will be released as per the final decision.
