Government of Kerala releases Notification for Higher Secondary Examination 2013
Government of Kerala announces Examination schedule for Higher secondary Examination 2013. It conducts Second Year Higher Secondary Examination, March 2013, First Year Higher Secondary Examination, March 2013,Second Year Higher Secondary SAY/Improvement Examination, June 2013,First Year Higher Secondary Improvement/Supplementary Examination, August 2013.
- Second Year Higher Secondary Examination, March 2013 conducts by the board of Higher secondary Examination as follows:
- Continuous Evaluation (CE):Continuous Evaluation is based on the learning activities by the candidate during the course of study. Candidates who have attempted CE for all the six subjects of the Second year course only shall be eligible to appear for the Second Year Higher Secondary Examination.
- Practical Evaluation (PE):The Practical Evaluation is based on the scheme and syllabus prescribed during 2011 – 2013 and shall be conducted during February / March 2013.Candidates appearing for the Second Year Higher Secondary Examination for the first time,Compartmental candidates who have not attended Practical Evaluation during their earlier appearances shall attend the Practical Evaluation in all subjects for which there are practicals as per the curriculum.A candidate who has appeared for Practical Evaluation once shall not appear for the next again.
- Terminal Evaluation (TE):TE is conducted as two schemes in which Scheme -1 is the exam conducted as per syllabus and curriculum during 2012-13.The total combined scores of First and Second Year Examinations of each subject shall be 200.where as scheme-2 is the exam conducted as per syllabus and curriculum during 2008-2009. The maximum score for each subject shall be 100.Candidates are informed that question papers will be same as scheme-1 except for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, Economics and Political Science.

- First Year Higher Secondary Examination, March 2013 conducts by the board of Higher secondary Examination as follows:
- Continuous Evaluation (CE):Continuous Evaluation is based on the learning activities by the candidate during the course of study. Candidates who have attempted CE for all the six subjects of first year only shall be eligible to appear for the first Year Higher Secondary Examination.
- Terminal Evaluation (TE):Candidates will be awarded marks in first year and the scores obtained in first and second years will be taken account for evaluation of grades.There shall not be any Practical Evaluation for the First Year Higher Secondary Examination
Candidates who registers and complete the first Year Higher secondary examination and second year course will only be eligible to attempt second year Higher secondary examination. - TIME TABLE:
